Evaluación de la fatiga mental y sus factores de riesgo en pilotos de combate de la Fuerza Aérea Brasileña

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar los factores de riesgo relacionados con la fatiga mental en pilotos de combate de la Fuerza Aérea Brasileña y perfilar el perfil de esta población. Se analizaron datos de 58 pilotos, recopilados mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario sociodemográfico, la Escala de Sensación de Fatiga, el DASS-21, el WHOQOL BREF y el IPAQ-short. Los principales resultados revelaron que la satisfacción con el ámbito social y los altos niveles de ansiedad son factores de riesgo para el desarrollo de fatiga mental entre los pilotos (p < 0,05). Por otro lado, la satisfacción con el dominio psicológico resultó ser un factor protector significativo (p < 0,001). Los pilotos de combate enfrentan riesgos considerables de fatiga mental y comprender los factores que contribuyen a esta condición es crucial para desarrollar estrategias efectivas para gestionar el riesgo de fatiga en esta población.
