Uma Análise da Gestão de Projetos de Sistemas de Informação no Exército Brasileiro

This article investigates the management of information systems projects in the Brazilian Army (EB), highlighting the importance of adopting management practices in line with operational and strategic requirements. It emphasizes the need for a management approach that is adaptable to the complexity of missions and the variety of participants. By analyzing existing methodologies, the study identifies obstacles that affect project delivery and proposes the implementation of an Information Architecture as a solution to improve systems integration and management. The benefits of efficient project management are discussed based on recognized framework such as PMBOK and the NEGAPEB principles. The methodology encompasses documentary, bibliographical and field research, including interviews and direct observation, enabling an accurate diagnosis of the challenges faced and current IT management practices. This multidisciplinary approach facilitates the proposal of an Information Architecture customized to the specific needs of the EB. The results indicate the feasibility of implementing an Information Architecture, integrating project management, information technology and organizational strategy, promoting effective management and contributing to EB's objectives and efficiency.
